For any high-tech product or service,
TechniCOM can produce traditional paper-based technical manuals
and training materials on a per-project basis. Our balanced approach
to technical publications ensures that the design, functionality
and content quality are in perfect balance.
All materials are structured so that
they are easy to use and visually appealing. To maximize the learning
experience, our publications make extensive use of graphic elements
such as screen captures, digital photographs, and technical illustrations.

| The
eBook, or Electronic Technical Manual (ETM), is a quantum leap in
the evolution of technical publications. Technical books that would
normally require thousands of pages and multiple volumes of information
can easily be stored on one single CD or DVD disk. Security features
programmed into the eBook can password-protect all or any single part
of the publication. Data encryption and other forms of advanced piracy
protection technology can be integrated into the application to prevent
data from being extracted from the eBook. |

|
| All
HTML eBooks use familar web technologies such as Macromedia Flash,
Standard HTML, Dynamic HTML, XML or SGML that can be viewed by using
a standard web browser contained on the distribution disk. As an alternative
to classroom based training, eBooks can be easily developed so that
the application will connect to the Internet or a corporate Intranet
to function in a collaborative eLearning environment. With integrated
web based testing programmed into the publication, eBooks can connect
to the Internet for distance learning or for fully-automated employee
testing. |

Digital video based training creates
a passive learning environment where the viewer is immersed with
sound and images. It can be used effectively to create any type
of administrative, procedural or technology based training. It can
act as a substitute for standard classroom based training where
large numbers of trainees must be taught lessons by an instuctor.
Training video is regularly used to train personnel in software,
safety, industrial electronics, automated machinery and administrative
procedures.
TechniCOM handles all pre-production,
production, editing, validation and graphic design for each training
video. We capture and edit all video in high-resoultion digital
video formats such as DV50 and MPEG2 so that finished productions
can be easily output to almost any delivery format - on VHS tape,
CD-ROM or DVD-ROM. Custom video CD player applications can also
be developed.

Web based training is designed primarily
for distribution of information to the target audience via networked
connections such as the Internet or over a corporate Intranet. This
revolutionary type of instruction is also often referred to as eLearning.
The eLearning market is presently experiencing an exponential rate
of growth as many web technologies advance such as high-speed Internet
services and streaming web video.
Before high-speed networks and the
Internet, advanced multimedia was limited to running on computers
from disk-based media such as a CD-ROM. Now advanced multimedia
can be designed to flow over the Internet (stream) to any type of
computer around the world with an HTML 4.0 compatible web browser
installed such as Internet Explorer or Netscape. TechniCOM
develops powerful and easy-to-use websites and Web Based Training
(WBT) that allows companies to communicate any type of technical
information or training to their customers, suppliers or employees.
